Mon, 23 June 2008 As discussed on last week's podcast, EA released a trial version of their Spore Creature Creator. This is my first attempt at creating a lifeform (with the exception of the supermold growing in my refrigerator). I shall call him... Seymour.

Thu, 5 June 2008 Japanese man Katsuya Matsumura hand-built this case for his PC. I have as much of an infatuation with anime girls as the next geek, but I think this is taking it a tad too far. We geeks have made tremendous strides in being accepted by the mainstream, and now this guy comes along and messes it all up. We have fought hard against the stereotypes (dateless, no social life, live in mom's basement), and in one fell swoop, Kat knocks it all down, like Gojira to Tokyo. He didn't even give it a sexy name like Kuniko-taka or something. He named her ERN006. sigh... All the detailed pics (with squibbly japanese) from ERN006's construction can be found here: http://sae.cside.com/sae/kat/pc/ern006/ern006.htm. Oh, and she's for sale!! — QM Category: computers -- posted at: 11:44 PM Comments[0] |
